First post. No pressure.....

So here is the first post on my shiny new Blog. I've no idea what made decide to start writing, I've only recently begun reading/following blogs on a regular basis so I'm pretty new to this in all respects.

I'm not sure i have a subject or aim for this space right now so I'm going to go ahead and fill it with the mundane and the ordinary in the hope that good stuff happens at some point along the way.

Today

A work day. I did a spot of baking this morning with the plan to take it into work for the afternoon shift. Wasn't long after i got that sorted that i had a call from the school, T had been ill *yuck*. Obviously i went to pick him up and had to make arrangements for him to stay with S next door while i went to work. He's been absolutely fine from the moment i picked him up, so whatever it was it didn't last, thankfully!

I now have 2 days off. No plans as such. I am thinking that with it due to get really hot by Friday that i should probably use tomorrow productively and get all the housework done *yuck*, especially as I'm working both days this weekend.
There's also the small matter of Teachers presents, I'm doing a baked present again this year, Cherry almond traybake for one and Chocolate fudge for the other.
